Hyeseong Cho

Hyeseong Cho is a Toronto based painter, born and raised in Seoul, South Korea and immigrated to Canada in 2009. Through her paintings, she seeks to encapsulate the essence of deep human nihilism and anxiety, translating these complex emotions into visual narratives that resonate with both her personal journey and the shared human experience. Her compositions capture the fragile landscape of human emotions through countless perspectives of structural elements, windows and doors, symbolizing the tenuous grasp we have on the fabric of reality.
